Wooly and waxy with yellow plum and white flowers on the subdued aromas of this classic Chenin Blanc. Zesty and bright, this is loaded with minerals and focused yellow plums, bosch pears and honey crisp apples. Mineral and floral in the mouth this is very drinkable now and quite delicious.
Once again composed from two volcanic hillside vineyards on the Sonoma Coast, this coastal Chardonnay is a brilliant rendition of this variety. Loaded with zesty acidity and concentrated fruit, the volcanic soils add suave minerality and lightness. While the low yielding drought vintage of 2015 handles all of the depth & concentration.
Persistent and long with dried pear, green apple and apricot all wrapped up with a warm hug of honey that keeps the flavors buzzing along together nicely. Altogether a delicate wine with a guided precision of creamy acidity and delicious mountain salinity that makes this mouthwatering Chardonnay so fun to drink.
This stunning Chardonnay is all intensity, energy and mouthwatering fruit. This steep, volcanic soil covered slope has gone from strength to strength as it is maturing. The wines seem to be gaining complexity and depth every year, while at the same time showing more cut and length. This 2015 has broader shoulders than the 2014 with more sweetness of fruit and concentration.
