Wooly and waxy with yellow plum and white flowers on the subdued aromas of this classic Chenin Blanc. Zesty and bright, this is loaded with minerals and focused yellow plums, bosch pears and honey crisp apples. Mineral and floral in the mouth this is very drinkable now and quite delicious.
Our pride & joy, this 100% Syrah remains a staple in the finest restaurants of the world and a favorite of sommeliers for its classic structure, flavor profile and plain deliciousness. These three spectacular sites are all delicious on their own as you probably well know, but for whatever majikal witchcraft always create a deeper and more complete wine when blended together. This 2015 will rank up there as one of the best yet.
Once again composed from two volcanic hillside vineyards on the Sonoma Coast, this coastal Chardonnay is a brilliant rendition of this variety. Loaded with zesty acidity and concentrated fruit, the volcanic soils add suave minerality and lightness. While the low yielding drought vintage of 2015 handles all of the depth & concentration.
While warmer vintages in California can sometimes mean that the wines are too big and too ripe for their own good, when that comes to our cold coastal vineyards that we pull from for this wine, it just means that the wine is that much more complete and complex. These vineyards work in unison to create a cohesive and complete wine that has smoke elements form the Griffins Lair Vineyard, crystalline fruit from Sun Chase and density and purity from Gaps Crown. Not to mention the brilliant spice from Black Knight and the concentrated and lively fruit from Spring Hill.
